Hello everyone of the interwebs, friends and family, and whoever has taken the time to look at this blog (thank you)! My name is Amanda Flaherty, but most call me Chibi! I am 5 feet tall, with hazel eyes and hair of indiscriminate colors. I live in Massachusetts in a small town 15 minutes from the most poorly organized (and best!) city in America. (Sorry to all the New York lovers! <3) I am fairly obsessed with Owl City, and all Adam Young projects. I have a life-time love for The Lion King and Zelda.
Why do I want to start a blog?
I spend a lot of my time at work, so my *free* time tends to begin and end with me being incredibly lazy, and studying ridiculous amounts of things pertaining to the the various worlds I day dream about. (Which reminds me, did you know that when you're day dreaming or "zoning" you just had a mini brain seizure? I think that's hilarious.) For a long time, I believed this was wrong and that I should be like any other teenager, and go out every night. Not shoving my nose into a 6 inch thick book about Fashion Designers, and not stalking the communities of LiveJournal at age 13 to only discover the *greatness* that is Japanese Street Fashion. Which led me on to learn far too much about Asian Culture than is probably healthy. Which then somehow in some way or another, brought me to the complete nerd I am today. I love anything and everything pertaining to (but not limited to): Fashion, Skin Care, Makeup, Modeling, Cosplay, Asian Culture, Fantasy, Horror, Alice in Wonderland, Video Games, Literature, Comic Books, and *breath* Baking.
Now to answer the question above: I want to start a blog because, rather than feeling like a total dork for loving/knowing about all of these things, and not doing anything with it, I want to *start* doing *something with it! I will be posting reviews, outfit ideas, advice, and so much more; and when I get a camera I will expand to Vlogs, tutorials, and even post some street Fashion from my area! I have lots of ideas, and hopefully (with me being the procrastinator I am >.>) will become dedicated to this blog, and hopefully readers out there will enjoy it! :) Please stick around to see my first entry!
